The VF405 provides professionals with ideal conditions for fixation-free observation of eye movements in patients being evaluated for vestibular disorders. With the VF405, users can perform Spontaneous Nystagmus, Positional and Dix-Hallpike, Head Impulse, customized tests, and remotely control any of the tests with a USB connected footswitch. The combination goggle for the VF405 is light weight, with an easy fitting magnetic cover to allow for testing both with vision and with vision denied. The soft, disposable face cushions are comfortable, allow for a sanitary solution, and provide a completely light-tight fit to prevent the suppression of natural nystagmus responses. The VF405 connects directly to a PC computer or laptop, with crisp and contrasting rich eye images displayed in partial or full screen mode. With the external camera, users can record sound and video not only of the eyes, but of the patient’s movements as well. All results, including videos from each test, can be recorded and stored in the OtoAccess database. The VF405 system also includes functions for editing and printing reports, sharing data, and is Electronic Medical Records (EMR) ready.
